AAT Receives NEH Grant to Develop History Materials

In partnership with the National Associatioin of Scholars (NAS), AAT has obtained a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) in the amount of $94,222 for its part in: History Materials and Support Project (HIMSP).

Working with nationally-recognized historian Wilfred Mcclay, author of the Land of Hope textbook, as well as other highly esteemed historians and history educators, AAT is developing instructional units that support excellence in teaching and learning. The units, to be released in a digital ePub format, work in concert with the Land of Hope textbook. In addition, they emphasize student analysis and mastery of core original documents, such as the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. They are based on principles of effective instructional design.
